Dying Light How To Save Game

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a vast open-world game that embraces its RPG mechanics in skill trees and character development. So having a reliable save system is important to the player, especially as its design offers so much in the way of freedom and challenge.

Unfortunately, there is no way to save one's game manually in Dying Light 2. However, the game uses its built-in autosave feature frequently, which will go a long way in ensuring that the protagonist Aiden retains his loot and experience/XP gained. This means that if the protagonist dies, he will respawn back at the last safe house or a checkpoint during a mission.

Even though there is no way to save via the game's menus, players can trigger manual saves of their own in-game. These are the methods to save the game outside of manual saves in Dying Light 2 Stay Human:

There is no way of knowing how much time has passed since the game last saved/autosaved. As a result, exploring the map, discovering and unlocking as many of Dying Light's safe zones as possible is the best way to ensure that as little progress as possible has been lost.

Quitting the game before triggering a save will mean that any unsaved progress will be lost. Thankfully, the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S have a feature that will allow players to shut down their consoles in a hurry and continue where they left off.

Having said that, there is no manual saving in Dying Light. Saving occurs whenever the automatic save icon appears, as shown below. This usually takes place while crossing various checkpoints on the map, receiving quests or when leaving the game via its Pause menu:

Dying Light 2 is a big game. Maybe not exactly 500 hours big, but there are a lot of side quests that disappear after a certain point, and some decisions aren't easy. But do note that this only applies to the PC version of the game, which is available in both Steam and Epic Games. You cannot do this on PlayStation or Xbox just yet, though Techland is working to implement the functionality.

Dying light, a video game that sets itself in the horror action-adventure market, has received a mixed response from players with a review score of 70% on PC Gamer and 7/10 on GameSpot. Although players have spoken positively on its plot, graphics and tutorial, they have also been quick to criticise its slow mechanics and poor animations.

Dying light was developed by Techland, who are also known for games such as Call of Juarez and Dead Island. It was first released on 26th January 2015, however fans are now awaiting the release of its Sequel: Dying Light 2, which is expected to be available in 2020.

The game will autosave each time you complete a quest or objective, meaning you can rest easy knowing your progress is saved periodically as you complete missions. But if you need to end your playing session or are done for the day, there are a couple of other ways to save the game.

Again, those choices not only form the broad strokes of the ending you see but can subtly change aspects of the final ending as well. So, if you choose to save Hakon, give the VNC Tower to Frank, and save Mia, the ending will be slightly different in some ways than if you did the opposite of those actions (and every other available combination).

The Dying Light 2 save Hakon or let him die choice is one of the most dramatic narrative moments in the whole game. Dying Light 2 forces players to make a number of choices throughout its campaign, with your choices impacting the narratives and some of the missions that you have available to you. The Nightrunners quest is one of the biggest deviations in the game, so if you want to ensure you are making the choice, then read on for our breakdown on the Dying Light 2 save or kill Hakon choice.

Want to know how to save Aitor in Dying Light 2? Dying Light 2 is a game where choices have big consequences. And depending on your playthrough so far, Aitor may be a friend and ally, or someone who wants to put you in a hole. Either way, it's probably a good idea to know how to save him in the titular "Aitor" side-quest which you'll come across once you reach the Central Loop.

Shortly after reaching the Central Loop in Dying Light 2, you're sent to the Peacekeeper's headquarters in The Wharf district. While you're there, Aitor - who you last saw being demolished by the game's main antagonist, Waltz - is wheeled in on a stretcher, barely hanging onto life. A new side-quest begins, where you can talk to his doctor, who tasks you with asking a particular herbalist about the Recluse Herb, which could be used to save Aitor's life.

Halo for the PC has been updated once again with the fairly important-sounding 1.031 update fixing "the crash on startup bug relating to the intro movies", as well as turning off anisotropic filtering by default and invalidating all your save games. Don't worry about the latter part though, because it's only your checkpoints that are reset - any levels you've actually unlocked should still be available to you. 2ff7e9595c
